Teuku.Net - Wearable gadget maker Amazfit introduced a new smartwatch called Active Edge last October. The product was recently released in Indonesia.
The Amazfit Active Edge is a sporty-style smartwatch with a round frame made of reinforced polycarbonate.
The screen, which is also round, uses a 1.32-inch TFT LCD panel with a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels and a pixel density of 277 ppi. The case has a diameter of 46 mm and weighs 34 grams. The strap is 22 mm wide.
This smartwatch is designed for users who love sports and activities. The design is also made tough by passing 7 military-grade endurance tests, ranging from extreme temperatures to bumps and shocks.
To help users track their activities, Amazfit Active Edge is equipped with a sports tracker that can track more than 130 types of activities. This feature is immediately activated when the user performs activities such as running or swimming.
Amazfit Active Edge is also equipped with various other features to support its use as a smartwatch, such as BioTracker PPG biometric sensor, location-based GPS with 5 satellites, to training guidance with the Zepp Coach application.
Amazfit Active Edge is also waterproof to 10 ATM or 100 meters, while its 370 mAh battery is said to last up to 16 days in normal use scenarios.
Amazfit has started marketing the Active Edge through its official accounts on a number of online marketplaces in Indonesia. It is priced at IDR 1,990,000 with Midnight Pulse, Mint Green and Lava Black color options.
